Sustainability Expert

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Senior Consultant. As a key member of our sustainability team, you will play a critical role in driving our company's sustainability agenda forward.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide internal consulting on strategic sustainability issues to operational and functional areas
• Conduct independent analysis of market and customer requirements, and implement sustainability analyses, such as product life cycle assessments
• Identify and evaluate measures to reduce CO2 emissions, and track and communicate results
• Develop and implement competences, tools, and processes to support sustainability initiatives
• Collaborate with internal and external departments, including customers, suppliers, and associations

Requirements

• Master's degree in chemistry, engineering, or a related field
• Relevant professional experience in sustainability, particularly life cycle assessment
• Excellent knowledge of sustainability standards, specifications, and tools
• Proficiency in English and German (advantageous)
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a high degree of initiative and personal responsibility
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
