Anesthesiologist Assistant

The Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care at Katholisches Krankenhaus St. Johann Nepomuk Erfurt is a leading institution in the field of anesthesiology and intensive care. With 12 anesthesiology positions and over 8,000 anesthetics performed annually, our department is equipped to handle complex cases. Our modern and well-equipped intensive care unit has 10 beds, and our team of experts provides high-quality care to patients with critical illnesses. We also have a notarized ambulance service in the city of Erfurt, operating four days a week.

The head of our department has the authority to train and certify specialists in anesthesiology and intensive care medicine, as well as anesthesiological intensive care medicine. This includes a 48-month training period, including 12 months of intensive care medicine, and a 12-month additional training in anesthesiological intensive care medicine.
