Global Finance Process Specialist

Position Overview:
As a Global Finance Process Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing and standardizing financial operations across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the definition and execution of strategies aimed at standardizing and advancing financial workflows, particularly focusing on the comprehensive processes of record-to-report, order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, as well as monthly closing and financial reporting.
- Drive automation projects within core financial processes and systems to enhance operational efficiency.
- Optimize system functionalities, including SAP S4/HANA and Invoice Track, to boost process effectiveness.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the efficiency of financial operations and promote ongoing improvements.
- Establish and document standard operating procedures to maintain consistency and compliance throughout the organization.
- Collaborate closely with various departments at headquarters, including Finance, Purchasing, Sales, and IT, as well as with Festo country organizations and Finance Shared Service Centers.
- Manage projects and sub-projects focused on the implementation of new processes, system upgrades, and enhancements within the finance division.
Qualifications:
- A degree in economics or a related field.
- Extensive professional experience in the financial sector, with a solid grasp of financial and accounting principles.
- Strong IT skills and comprehensive knowledge of SAP (S4/HANA).
- Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager and Power BI is advantageous.
- Proficient communication skills in both German and English, particularly in an international context.
- An analytical, organized, and self-sufficient approach to work.
