About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Senior Test Engineer to join our cross-functional engineering team at Fluke. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting functional, performance, environmental, and safety tests of new or existing products.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and cases to ensure product quality and delivery.
- Collaborate with software, electronic, and mechanical engineers to ensure products meet key validation criteria.
- Design and implement robust automated verification systems for assigned products.
- Identify and drive process improvements to enhance test efficiency and effectiveness.
- Work closely with IT, product management, engineering, and other departments to ensure seamless integration.
Your Team
You will be part of a dynamic team consisting of mechanical, electronic, firmware, and software engineers based in Ismaning and other European sites. You will have a close working relationship with Fluke's technical experts and production sites globally.
Requirements
- 3-5 years' experience as a professional tester or developer, preferably with electronic measurement devices.
- Understanding of microprocessor-controlled digital and analog electronics troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of verification and validation processes, test strategies, and requirements management.
- Programming skills for test automation, with hands-on experience in Python or other languages.
Desirable Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical, electronics, computer science engineering, or a related field.
- Familiarity with continuous integration principles.
- Knowledge of optical and mechanical vibration measurement testing.
- Ability to learn new programming concepts, languages, and best practices.
