Certification and Compliance Specialist

We're seeking an experienced Certification and Compliance Engineer to join our portfolio company in Munich. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for managing the transition from prototypes to full-scale production, ensuring certifications, standards, and comprehensive documentation throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement production plans to transition prototypes into full-scale production
- Manage the process of obtaining industry certifications (ISO, CE, MIL-STD) and ensure ongoing compliance
- Oversee the creation and management of technical documentation, including product specifications and compliance records
- Collaborate closely with design, R&D, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless integration and product development
- Optimize production processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Assess and mitigate production risks to ensure product safety, reliability, and quality
- Create and maintain technical documentation while assisting with necessary certifications
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous learning and development
- At least 3 years of experience in production planning, ideally in robotics, defense, automotive, aerospace, or related supplier industries
- Strong understanding of production processes within the EU/Germany, with experience in certifications and documentation
- A hands-on approach to resolving production challenges effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
- Excellent communication skills in both English and German
