Your Role at Alstom: A Key Contributor to Rail Innovation
- Lead the coordination of approval processes for various vehicle projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Analyze system and software specifications, identifying potential areas for improvement and optimization.
- Organize testing activities and collaborate with external testing providers to ensure rigorous evaluation of rail systems.
- Act as a liaison between regulatory authorities, customers, and internal teams, facilitating seamless communication and collaboration.
- Manage project tasks related to approval processes, adhering to strict deadlines and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to other departments outside the approval team, fostering knowledge sharing and best practices.
- Conduct internal seminars on approval topics, educating colleagues on relevant regulations and procedures.
- Participate in testing and trials, gathering valuable data and insights to enhance rail system performance.
- Ensure comprehensive documentation for authorities and assessors, providing clear and concise information to support approval processes.
Your Profile: A Skilled Engineer with a Passion for Rail Technology
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Proven experience in railway or signal technology, demonstrating a strong understanding of rail system operations and regulations.
- Knowledge of approval management processes is highly desirable.
- Technical acumen combined with business awareness to effectively manage projects and communicate with stakeholders.
- Fluency in German and English, enabling clear communication with diverse teams.
- Self-motivated and customer-oriented approach, dedicated to delivering exceptional results.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, fostering effective collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Willingness to travel for project requirements.
