Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Platform Engineer - Integration Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Integration Team, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining our integration platform.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement scalable and efficient integration solutions using Kafka and other technologies.
- Develop and maintain libraries and tools to support our development teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement APIs and events.
- Ensure that events and REST interfaces are well-documented, consistent, and easy to use.
- Take ownership of our Kafka landscape and work with our platform teams to ensure its smooth operation.
- Provide technical support to our development teams.
- Experience in building and operating distributed software environments.
- Experience with automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and SaltStack.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language from our stack (JavaScript/TypeScript, Java/Kotlin, and Python).
- Experience with Kafka is a plus.
- Knowledge of API management systems is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
