About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Controller to join our team at Bertelsmann SE & Co. KGaA. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial health and compliance of our organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the month-end close process for specific units and maintain partnerships with shared service centers and external accountants
- Lead the audit process and act as a liaison between the business and external and internal auditors
- Ensure that financial reports meet the highest standards of accuracy
- Assist in the management of treasury functions and the maintenance of internal controls and policies
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and development
About You
- You have first experience in financial controlling or a comparable field
- You have a strong understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
- You have first experience in using ERP Systems
- You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a multicultural and international environment
- You are ambitious, have a strong desire to grow and are ready to tackle challenges
- Fluency in English and German is essential
- Additional language skills (French or Italian) are a plus
- You are able to come to the office three days a week
