About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Solutions Specialist to join our team at 50Hertz Transmission GmbH. As a key member of our Digital Workplace product team, you will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of our software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define functional and technical requirements for software solutions with a focus on information and knowledge management
  • Conduct market analysis and fit-gap analyses to identify areas for improvement
  • Integrate customer requirements by configuring or coordinating configurations
  • Provide ongoing support for the integration of software into our application and system landscape
  • Support testers in preparing, conducting, and evaluating test scenarios as needed
  • Ensure operations and software maintenance together with the product team
  • Support the product owner in license negotiations, defining SLAs, and supplier management
  • Initiate and participate in further developments and improvements to the software supported by the product team
  • Support the product owner with IT cost estimates and advise on team composition
  • Advise users on information and knowledge management, including industry-standard best practices
  • Consult key users and departments on document management issues such as archiving, metadata, and legal aspects
  • Implement knowledge management tools and scientific methods to foster a 'learning organization'

Requirements

  • University degree in business informatics, computer science, knowledge management, or a comparable field
  • Sound experience in planning, development, operation, and further development of applications or software systems (standard or individual software)
  • At least 3 years' experience with and up-to-date knowledge of tools for information, knowledge, and document management, such as MS Sharepoint, Atlassian Confluence, or similar, and confident handling of MS O365 standard software
  • Willingness to travel occasionally, including abroad
  • Languages: Very good knowledge of German and English (both at least C1)

Nice to Have

  • Experience in IT provider management and IT operations management is an advantage, as well as knowledge of ITIL-based service management
