Position Overview:
KPIT is at the forefront of developing Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) solutions, collaborating with six leading OEM programs to redefine modern central compute and zonal E/E architectures. Our engineers are equipped with in-depth knowledge in Connected, Autonomous, Shared, and Electric Mobility, alongside expertise in software standardization technologies including Android, Adaptive AUTOSAR, Linux, QNX, and more.
Through partnerships with global OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers, as well as in-house product development and academic collaborations, we provide our engineers with the tools to accelerate their careers in automotive software.
Key Responsibilities:
- As a Subject Matter Expert, you will develop and implement solutions for intricate software platforms and products related to future Software Defined Vehicles.
- You will lead dynamic development initiatives and guide project teams.
- Your role will also involve engaging with clients to present technical solutions from KPIT and assist in business development efforts.
Core Duties:
- Design Software Architecture and evaluate Project Level Technical workflows to support customer engagements and solution development.
- Conduct design reviews and performance enhancements.
- Perform Project Level Technical Impact Analysis for proposed changes.
- Assess technical strategies, estimations, risks, and solutions for proposals.
- Translate customer needs into software specifications and enhance team training and skillsets.
- Review task and function estimations for project deliverables.
Essential Qualifications:
- Proven experience in software architecture for automotive platforms or products.
- Proficient in C++ / C++ 11/14/17 with a strong grasp of object-oriented design and modeling, along with familiarity in embedded systems and low-level hardware interactions.
- Extensive experience in middleware or application development on operating systems such as Linux and QNX.
- Fluency in English and German at a C1 level is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in automotive sectors such as ADAS, Infotainment, and Adaptive AUTOSAR.
- Understanding of Adaptive AUTOSAR specifications.
- Familiarity with distributed software development technologies like ROS and DDS.
- Knowledge of methodologies such as ASPICE, MISRA guidelines, and functional safety standards like ISO26262.
- Experience in DevOps and CI/CD environments for embedded systems.
- Background in configuration and change management methodologies.
- Experience with test automation techniques.
