About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Application Engineer to join our team at Voith Group. As an Application Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting global sales in managing customer projects within the Power Generation, Oil & Gas sectors, and emerging fields such as Hydrogen.

Your Responsibilities

  • Prepare commercial and technical proposals for our products and drive packages, working closely with our sales team.
  • Review project requirements and specifications, and assess proposals for feasibility (risk assessment, costs, and delivery time), with support from departments such as Engineering, Finance, and Operations.
  • Conduct technical clarifications with customers, finalize the technical scope of delivery, and hand over orders to relevant departments, including the necessary documentation.
  • Coordinate and manage complex customer projects within an interdisciplinary team.
  • In addition, you contribute actively to the continuous improvement of tools and processes and manage their implementation.

Your Profile

  • You have completed your studies in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering, or a comparable field.
  • Several years of professional experience as an Application Engineer or Project Manager; international experience in the Oil & Gas industry and/or the energy sector is a plus.
  • We require very good English and good German skills, both written and spoken.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally worldwide is a welcome change.
  • Strong intercultural competence, good communication skills, and entrepreneurial thinking and acting.
  • You are a great team player, and you have strong project management skills. Your working approach is self-motivated and independent.
