Position Overview:

The Production Scheduling Specialist reports to the Plant Manager and is primarily responsible for developing the production schedule based on customer order requirements and safety stock levels.This role also involves maintaining data for all formulation and relevant MRP master data within the ERP system.Work processes are primarily driven by customer demands; decisions regarding optimal daily planning are made by the production scheduling team, while higher-level decisions are coordinated with the manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Under the guidance of the Plant Manager, this individual will coordinate production while adhering to legal and customer-specific regulations, ensuring reliable quality and cost efficiency of the production schedules.

Responsibilities include:

Optimal planning of customer order requirements and safety stock, considering batch sizes and delivery requirements, as well as raw materials/packaging sourced from external suppliers or H.B. Fuller subsidiaries in other regions.Verification of process orders for accuracy of master data (BoM, PV, UoM, etc.) and initiating corrections as necessary.Planning and monitoring production capacities (making adjustments as needed) according to requirements: creating and overseeing production schedules and inventory levels while considering batch sizes and delivery requirements.Confirmation of contract orders based on order sizes and delivery.Inventory control and correction of finished goods, raw materials, and packaging – direct communication with procurement.Timely updating of transactions to ensure smooth communication flow between functions.Monitoring production progress – adjusting plans as necessary.Coordinating the creation and modification of relevant planning master data, production, and packaging models as needed.

Qualifications:

Vocational training or prior experience in production planning.Technical understanding of production processes.Practical experience in planning and controlling production processes.Strong communication and coordination skills with various contacts/interfaces.Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel.SAP knowledge in the area of PP ERP systems.
