Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Material Flow Control Specialist to join our Screw Compressor Production Center Warehouse Logistics department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of materials and products throughout our production process.
Key Responsibilities
- Material Availability and Coordination
- Verify material availability for production orders on a warehouse level and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure timely delivery.
- Material Request and Planning
- Request materials and plan relocations to optimize inventory levels and lead times.
- Picking and Inventory Management
- Release and coordinate picking needs to optimize lead times and ensure accurate inventory levels.
- Inventory Optimization
- Monitor and optimize inventory levels and lot sizes to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
- Material Flow Control
- Monitor incoming goods and control material flow to demand location to ensure timely delivery.
- Ramp-up Coordination
- Supervise the ramp-up of new end products for picking in coordination with relevant departments.
Requirements
- Education and Experience
- Completed training as a warehouse logistics specialist or similar.
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
- Skills and Qualifications
- Good SAP WM / EWM knowledge is desirable.
- Forklift license and G25 examination are required.
- Independent and accurate working style, strong coordinative work style, and willingness to work overtime and shifts are essential.
- Team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
