Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze financial and risk KPIs for the Energy Markets function and E.ON Energy Markets GmbH, identifying areas for improvement and reporting to senior management.
- Develop and implement a state-of-the-art reporting infrastructure for the Energy Markets portfolios, leveraging automation and data visualization tools to enhance transparency and decision-making.
- Ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial data, including cost structures and cash flow, and provide insights to stakeholders.
- Review and approve complex transactions from a controlling perspective, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Contribute to the development of the Energy Markets Mid-Term Plan (MTP) for E.ON SE, providing financial and analytical expertise to inform strategic decisions.
- Prepare and deliver high-quality analysis, reports, and presentations to executive stakeholders and decision-makers, communicating complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
- Collaborate with various internal stakeholders, including Group Financial Controlling, Business Controlling, and regional Risk and Finance functions, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
Requirements
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with a degree in a relevant field such as finance, economics, or business.
- Proven experience in the energy sector, including energy procurement, sales, or trading, with a focus on financial analysis and risk management.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau, with experience in automating data processes and creating interactive dashboards.
- Excellent commercial understanding of commodity and energy markets, with the ability to translate complex financial concepts into actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Fluency in English, with German language skills a plus.
