Role Overview

We are seeking a Junior Software Engineer to contribute to our ongoing development efforts in Inventory and Serial Number Management. This position is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic about creating well-structured software solutions to enhance SAP's Logistics capabilities within S/4HANA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and test software utilizing SAP HANA, SAP Fiori, JavaScript and/or UI5, ABAP, and RAP.
  • Participate in an agile development environment (SCRUM), taking ownership of backlog items during sprint planning and ensuring their completion according to the definition of done.
  • Collaborate closely with the product owner, architects, and fellow engineers.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to both internal and external colleagues.
  • Tackle complex issues within your area of expertise and assist others in resolving challenges.

Qualifications

  • A degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience or a strong interest in developing S/4HANA software solutions using ABAP OO, RAP, and Fiori/UI5, focusing on performance, scalability, usability, and quality.
  • Familiarity with object-oriented programming and test-driven development (TDD).
  • A positive, open-minded attitude with a results-driven approach, problem-solving skills, and a willingness to take ownership of projects and challenge existing processes.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English.
