Darmstadt, Hessen, Deutschland MAGNOTHERM Vollzeit
What You Will Be Engaged In

At MAGNOTHERM, we are pioneering an innovative refrigeration technology aimed at significantly reducing energy consumption and eliminating greenhouse gas emissions within the industry. Our goal is to provide advanced cooling solutions that are both environmentally friendly and cost-effective. As a spin-off from the Technical University of Darmstadt, established in 2019, we are on a mission to make a positive impact on climate change. We invite you to join us in realizing this vision.

  • Support the design and development of electronic circuits and systems in alignment with project specifications.
  • Conduct testing and optimization of circuits in a laboratory setting.
  • Organize and manage the Bill of Materials (BoM) in accordance with market needs.
  • Document your work meticulously and maintain organized records of your projects.
What You Should Ideally Bring
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Solid understanding of electronic circuits (mixed signal), components, and systems.
  • Familiarity with Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Ki-Cad, Eagle) and SPICE simulation software (e.g., LT-Spice, P-Spice, MATLAB).
  • Proficient in using basic laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes and power supplies.
  • Basic programming skills (e.g., C/C++, Python, Arduino) are advantageous.
  • Fundamental soldering skills and the ability to manufacture or prototype circuits.
  • Willingness to thrive in a startup environment.
  • Fluency in English is required; German language skills are a plus.

If you may not meet every requirement but possess a strong desire to learn and contribute to advancing magnetocaloric cooling technology, we encourage you to apply. We prioritize enthusiasm and curiosity over mere experience or academic performance.

What You Will Gain from This Role
  • Autonomy to bring your ideas to fruition and gain valuable experience.
  • Access to all necessary tools for prototyping; if you require a tool we do not currently possess, we will acquire it.
  • An opportunity to take on responsibilities and grow personally in an environment that embraces mistakes as a pathway to innovation.
  • Become part of an exceptional team of talented individuals working at the forefront of climate technology.
  • Experience a flat organizational structure with swift decision-making processes that foster rapid development and improvement.
  • A competitive salary along with a fun and engaging workplace culture.
About Us
