We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Development Manager to join our team at Bauer Media Group. As a key member of our real estate department, you will be responsible for implementing our real estate strategy across our Group portfolio.
Key Responsibilities- Lead medium and large group real estate projects with cross-functional teams, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
- Develop and implement property development plans, including analysis of real estate market trends, rental, and capital investments.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to set project targets, space requirements, and budget, and ensure effective stakeholder management.
- Implement group workplace strategy for owned locations, including developed space usage and space renting strategy.
- Conduct feasibility studies for development projects, building and land valuations, land and property purchase, sale transactions, and planning and permitting process for real estate projects.
- Select and manage external design teams, real estate service providers, and professionals to contracted time, cost, and quality.
- Provide expert real estate, architectural, and construction decisions, guidance, and consultancy to RE projects in all project phases.
- Implement and continuously improve group RE standards and procedures, including portfolio management, workplace guidelines, look and feel, investments approvals, lease contracts management, processes, templates, internal benchmarking, and frameworks agreements.
- University degree in civil engineering, architecture, or real estate studies, with several years of work experience in project planning, project management, and workplace strategy.
- Proven track record of delivering results in project development, project planning, project management, and construction for commercial properties in Germany.
- Experience with real estate transactions, workplace strategy, and office projects planning and construction, as well as strong knowledge of Germany regulations and restrictions regarding planning processes, regulations, and restrictions.
- Ability to communicate target-oriented and work in a Matrix structure.
- Native-level German language skills.
