About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Android Software Architect to join our team at Capgemini Engineering. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative Android-based solutions for our clients in the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop the architecture for new generation Android In-Vehicle-Infotainment Systems
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align requirements and define system interfaces
  • Define and model the software architecture, including interfaces between platform and application layers
  • Coordinate the implementation and verification phases of new Android-based IVI Systems
  • Contribute to the definition of architecture guidelines and review submitted changes
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as electronic or information technology
  • Excellent knowledge of *nix operating systems, especially Linux, and experience with Android on application and system level
  • At least five years' experience in embedded software development, with expertise in programming languages, build and collaboration tools, and scripting
  • Fluency in German and English, with excellent communication and self-initiative skills
