Energy Regulation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Green Gas Expert to join our team at E.ON. As a key member of our Green Gas team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our company's green gas business.
About the RoleWe are looking for a talented individual with a strong background in energy regulation and international regulatory affairs. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing and implementing our green gas strategy, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of national and international regulatory frameworks, with a focus on the EU and Germany.
- Provide strategic guidance and assessments to enable beneficial decisions, comparing and optimizing different regulatory approaches in respective countries.
- Support the development of different business models with regard to current and future regulatory schemes.
- Collaborate closely with the European and German grid regulation teams to share regulatory development and ensure alignment with company goals.
- Participate in the field of Green Gas in projects on regulatory issues with relevant external bodies and associations or in internal groups.
- Good economic and/or international regulatory energy industry qualifications.
- Above-average diploma or master's degree in Economics, Engineering, or Law.
- Deep knowledge of national and/or international regulation, with a focus on the EU and Germany.
- Well-founded analytical and conceptual thinking, as well as high communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a result-oriented manner in interdisciplinary teams.
