SCADA Systems Project Engineer / IT Specialist (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities
  • You will oversee the design and integration of SCADA systems, networks, communication systems, or databases (SQL).
  • Your role includes the conceptualization, initiation, and documentation related to the monitoring of essential IT systems for the remote operation of offshore wind farms.
  • Additionally, you will be responsible for the initiation, design, and effective utilization of management tools, ensuring their relevance, methodology, and performance.
  • You will assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues within existing SCADA and communication systems for the supervisory control of offshore wind farms.
  • Finally, you will prepare the necessary technical documentation.
Your Profile
  • You hold a completed (technical) university degree in engineering (Master/Diploma) in the field of computer science or electrical engineering, or have completed further training as a technician with a focus on remote control technology.
  • You possess initial professional experience in a similar environment and have foundational knowledge in the design and commissioning of SCADA and network subsystems.
  • Moreover, you are familiar with the relevant standards for the design of supervisory control systems for offshore wind farms.
  • You have excellent skills in using common Microsoft Office applications.
  • Your analytical mindset and responsible work ethic set you apart.
  • High resilience, flexibility, and strong teamwork and communication skills complete your profile.
  • You have proficient German and English language skills (both written and spoken).
