Balluff EMEA is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Development Engineer to join our innovative team focused on capacitive electronics. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping the future of sensor technology by contributing to the design, development, and implementation of advanced capacitive sensing solutions.

  • Design & Innovation: Contribute to the creation of novel frontend technologies for capacitive sensors, pushing the boundaries of what's possible in this rapidly evolving field.
  • Enhancement & Optimization: Strategically enhance existing frontend modules, ensuring optimal performance and reliability across our product portfolio.
  • Circuit Expertise: Design, simulate, and rigorously test both analog and digital circuits, leveraging your deep understanding of electrical engineering principles.
  • Data-Driven Development: Conduct comprehensive measurements and analyze results based on stringent product requirements, ensuring that every development iteration meets the highest standards.
  • Project Leadership: Lead sub-projects from conception to production, collaborating effectively with interdisciplinary teams to bring innovative ideas to life.
  • Global Collaboration: Engage in international project teams, sharing your expertise and contributing to a global network of innovation.

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
  • Proven work experience in a relevant engineering role, demonstrating a strong track record of success.
  • In-depth knowledge of analog circuit design principles and best practices.
  • Familiarity with digital circuitry, LTSpice/PSPICE simulation tools, signal processing techniques, project management methodologies, and programming languages such as Python and C/C++.
  • A results-oriented team player with exceptional analytical skills and a passion for problem-solving.
  • Excellent command of the English language.
