About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to join our team as a Senior Process Development Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing manufacturing processes for various pharmaceutical products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and plan manufacturing processes for pharmaceutical products in collaboration with our customers.
  • Create process flow diagrams, equipment layouts, specifications, and tender documents.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Lead the customer through all project phases, from feasibility studies to commissioning and qualification.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure compliance with customer requirements and GMP regulations.
  • Mentor junior colleagues, delegate tasks, and share your expertise.
  • Support the preparation of bids by calculating hours, writing bid texts, and participating in customer meetings.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, evaluate mitigation strategies, and implement them with the customer, project management, and management.
  • Plan and deliver training sessions on current developments and create presentations and/or whitepapers on best-practice solutions or case studies.
Requirements
  • You have at least 10 years of experience in project management, plant engineering, and/or pharmaceutical production.
  • You have excellent GMP knowledge and actively follow current regulatory developments or engage in relevant associations and working groups.
  • You have a strong interest in working with our digital planning tools and developing them further. You want to share the knowledge you gain with both junior and experienced colleagues.
  • You have excellent problem-solving skills, a strong desire to continuously expand your knowledge, and the ability to work independently.
  • You can empathize with customers, have the ability to inspire, and demonstrate leadership qualities in customer relationships.
  • You are willing to travel regularly to our customers in Germany and their globally represented suppliers and actively network with our international locations.
  • You have a comprehensive network with suppliers in the industry and know the suitable solutions or the right contact persons for every task.
  • You hold a degree in Pharmaceutical Technology, Process Engineering, Biotechnology, Engineering, or a comparable field.
  • You have very good German and English language skills in writing and speaking.
