Job Title: Flight Test Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Flight Test Engineer to join our team at STRATO Personal GmbH. As a Flight Test Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating and conducting flight tests, developing flight test programs, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate development and certification tests
  • Develop flight test programs for CS/FAR23 commuter aircraft
  • Develop flight test cards and define flight test instrumentation
  • Coordinate and plan aircraft modifications
  • Develop procedures and manoeuvres for flight test cards
  • Prepare and conduct ground- and flight tests
  • Classify test hazards and develop risk mitigation procedures
  • Analyze data and compile test reports
  • Participate in onsite and offsite test campaigns
Requirements:
  • Completed studies in aerospace engineering or a similar degree
  • Minimum 3 years of professional working experience
  • Experience in flight testing required
  • Experience with development and certification flight testing desired
  • Familiarity with Part21 and CS/FAR23 requirements
  • Good knowledge of MS-Office software
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
