Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Sales Engineering Support Specialist for our Thermoforming Packaging division.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the technical liaison between subsidiaries and specialized departments, coordinating orders and projects effectively.
  • Translate customer requirements into clear technical specifications, defining and communicating the necessary parameters.
  • Assist technical groups during the opportunity management phase by addressing technical inquiries and supporting sample testing.
  • Utilize the sales configurator "SECON" to generate order cards that serve as the foundation for subsequent project management and execution.
  • Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) in collaboration with clients and our subsidiaries.

Additional Duties

  • Serve as a knowledgeable point of contact for technical inquiries, managing projects and processing orders for machine upgrades aimed at modernization and efficiency enhancement.
  • Organize and facilitate meetings with subsidiaries, manufacturing plants, and internal stakeholders.
  • Independently prepare and review proposals for completeness, clarity, and feasibility, applying your technical expertise systematically.
  • Respond to complex technical questions regarding products and services, developing solutions for proposal creation.
  • Participate in sample testing at our Innovation Center alongside clients and subsidiaries.

Candidate Profile

  • A completed degree in a technical field or a technical apprenticeship with further training as a technician or master craftsman.
  • Initial professional experience in the relevant field, with a passion for mechanical engineering and electrical technology.
  • Strong technical understanding and the ability to recognize, comprehend, and transfer technical relationships within machinery/lines.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team player with a holistic, customer-focused, and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Ideally, familiarity with SAP and proficiency in English to engage with our international clientele.
  • A creative thinker who enjoys developing and implementing ideas from the conceptual phase to market-ready products.
