We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Associate - Mass Spectrometry to join our team in the Pharmaceutical Cell & Gene Therapy organization at Roche.

As a key member of our analytical development team, you will be responsible for the chromatographic and mass spectrometric analysis of rAAV vectors to support process development and improve our understanding of these complex molecules.

Your expertise in protein analysis via chromatographic and mass spectrometric methods will be crucial in developing and employing cutting-edge technologies to enable extended characterization of rAAV capsids.

Your Key Responsibilities

* Conduct self-responsible analysis of samples to support bioprocess development, including data evaluation and reporting
* Develop and adapt existing analytical methods for detailed characterization of rAAV capsids
* Document, execute, and evaluate analyses according to GMP guidelines
* Prepare development reports and method qualification reports
* Support the testing, establishment, qualification, and supervision of modern LC-MS(/MS) systems

Your Profile

* Minimum 5 years of experience in protein analysis via chromatographic and mass spectrometric methods
* Knowledge of respective data evaluation and some experience with proteomics analysis
* Independent preparation of reports of different kinds, including method development and qualification
* Bachelor/Master's degree in biotechnology, biology, chemistry, or a similar area
* Fluency in English, written and spoken
