About the Role

LUMASERV is seeking a highly skilled System Engineer to manage and oversee our infrastructure, serving millions of users daily. This role involves operational management of host systems, routing, switching, and storage infrastructure, as well as hardware within our datacenter using latest technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure stable service of network and cloud hypervisors
  • System maintenance, optimization, and extension
  • Patch management
  • Implementation and extension of monitoring tools
  • Building up a team of fellow system engineers

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of networks, on-prem infrastructures, host systems, virtualizations, datacenter hardware, and CEPH storage solutions
  • Experience in managing network infrastructure and maintaining infrastructure for over 1000 Linux-based VMs
  • Knowledge in cloud technologies and maintaining infrastructure in public cloud environments
  • Skills in implementing and using monitoring tools for early detection and resolution of system issues
  • Knowledge of IT security standards and compliance requirements
  • Ability to plan, coordinate, and execute complex projects
