Senior Field Applications Engineer (m/w/d) - Automotive EMEA
IC Resources is at the forefront of developing semiconductor technologies that emphasize low-power consumption, high-definition, and ultra-HD video compression, alongside advanced image processing and computer vision capabilities.
We are in search of a proficient (Senior) Field Applications Engineer (m/w/d) to support our Automotive clients across the EMEA region.
Your Responsibilities:
- Facilitate design victories with targeted Automotive clients throughout the EMEA area.
- Deliver assistance for both pre-sales and post-sales initiatives in Europe.
- Serve as a reliable consultant to clients regarding feasibility, specifications, and implementation strategies.
- Work in tandem with marketing and factory specialists to collaboratively create technical responses to customer RFI/RFQs.
- Install and provide training for clients on development systems, SDKs, and tools.
- Develop reference designs and development systems, and review materials intended for customer interaction.
- Act as a technical intermediary between clients and the factory team.
- Support ongoing internal communications about significant customer activities, identifying challenges, success metrics, decision-makers, timelines, and critical sourcing factors.
Your Qualifications:
- Possess a Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Have over 7 years of experience in customer-facing roles involving embedded SoC semiconductor solutions with considerable systems, tools, and software components.
- Exhibit experience with Automotive clients and a history of successful product launches.
- Possess a solid understanding of end equipment in automotive ADAS, particularly in video and image processing, radar, and other environmental sensing technologies such as LiDAR and ultrasonic.
- Demonstrate a proven ability to navigate large, intricate customer organizations to connect with key executives and engineering decision-makers.
- Be an effective communicator with established relationships with clients.
- Be capable of thriving in an entrepreneurial setting and collaborating efficiently as part of a global go-to-market team.
- Fluency in business English and German is essential.
