Become a pivotal player in the leading local delivery platform.
We are in search of Senior Data Scientists (all genders) to contribute to the Vendor Sales sector of our Vendor Data team, dedicated to delivering exceptional experiences.
You will collaborate with fellow data experts to design and implement sophisticated models aimed at addressing intricate challenges, ultimately driving revenue for Delivery Hero as we navigate our growth and profitability journey.

This team consists of talented analysts, engineers, and scientists collaborating to deliver data solutions that address a variety of business opportunities across Delivery Hero's extensive global markets.

Your Responsibilities:
Spearhead the development and execution of advanced machine learning models for menu digitization services, vendor acquisition strategies, and competitive intelligence platforms. Work with cross-functional teams to optimize the efficiency and performance of machine learning models in Vendor Sales. Analyze extensive datasets to uncover and identify opportunities, employing advanced statistical techniques to enhance decision-making in vendor acquisition and mapping our competitive landscape. Lead research initiatives to investigate emerging trends and technologies in machine learning, contributing to the enhancement of Delivery Hero's digital sales products and algorithms. Stay updated on industry advancements and integrate new methodologies and best practices into our data science processes. Act as a subject matter expert in data science and machine learning, offering guidance and mentorship to team members while promoting a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the data science team.Required Qualifications:
Proficient in modeling business challenges using machine learning techniques, including feature engineering, model selection, design, evaluation, and optimization to provide value to the organization. Enhance the capabilities of team members through mentorship and collaborative efforts, sharing your extensive knowledge and experience in data science. Expertise in developing and training advanced machine learning models, with a strong command of the Python data toolkit, particularly Pandas, CatBoost, and PySpark. Familiarity with natural language processing or large language models is advantageous. Skilled in utilizing SQL queries to navigate our data landscape and gather information to support your analyses and the creation of machine learning solutions. Capable of writing clean, production-ready code and effectively utilizing software versioning tools, preferably Git. Experience with cloud systems development and deployment, ideally GCP. A passion for learning, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving, with a commitment to excellence. A collaborative team player who enjoys working with stakeholders from diverse technical backgrounds.Preferred Qualifications:
Practical experience with large language models or natural language processing challenges. Background in deploying complex models to handle live traffic and collaborating with ML engineers to create efficient systems that integrate ML models following best MLOps practices. Experience in developing digital sales data products would be a significant advantage.-
