Position: IoT System Engineer
Location: Munich
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement software solutions with a focus on Python to boost the reliability and efficiency of IoT devices.
- Work closely with hardware teams to ensure seamless integration of software and hardware components.
- Identify and resolve software-related issues through effective debugging and troubleshooting.
- Document software processes and systems to maintain clarity and consistency.
- Continuously assess and enhance software performance for optimal functionality.
- Oversee IoT systems to guarantee high availability and scalability.
- Proactively identify challenges and suggest effective solutions.
- Independently manage assigned tasks and take full ownership of projects.
- Adhere to established software engineering standards and contribute to their evolution.
Candidate Profile:
- Background in software engineering (e.g., Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Physics).
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in Docker.
- Experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Go, or Rust.
- Familiarity with Linux environments, including command line operations and GNU tools.
- Basic understanding of Python with a willingness to deepen knowledge in this area.
- Experience in embedded programming or system programming for Linux.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken (C1 level on the CEFR scale).
