The Corporate Center is the headquarters of the Bertelsmann Executive Board, responsible for coordinating all corporate activities of the group and assuming numerous group functions such as defining and developing the group's strategy, capital allocation, financing, management development, as well as other central tasks including legal, personnel, communication, and information technology.
The Corporate Responsibility department is part of the Central Human Resources of Bertelsmann SE & Co. KGaA and develops concepts and measures for the strategic development and implementation of Corporate Responsibility at various levels of the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribution to the strategic development of company-wide ESG priorities
- Participation in ESG reporting and support in its further development (especially Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive)
- Support in internal and external communication, including concept development and communication material preparation
- Research activities, information preparation, and decision-making documents, e.g., briefings, presentations
- Support in preparing, organizing, and conducting appointments
Requirements
- Advanced Master's degree in Business Administration or Arts, Media, or Communication Sciences
- Outstanding academic performance
- Strong interest in Corporate Responsibility; ideally, practical experience and/or a relevant study focus
- Thoroughness and precision
- Analytical thinking, good understanding of relationships, and independent and strategic work
- Excellent communication skills in German and English (written and spoken)
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (especially Teams, Word, PowerPoint)
