Galileo Satellite Navigation Data Dissemination Engineer

Key Responsibilities
- Implement the G2G satellite navigation payload data dissemination simulator, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
- Flow down satellite level data dissemination requirements to C-/S-Band and inter-satellite link message data structure, on-board processing of satellite and navigation message data, and downlink navigation message data broadcast timeline.
- Support subsystem teams in understanding and implementing data dissemination requirements, ensuring accurate and efficient execution.
- Review and contribute to data dissemination design and implementation aspects, trade-offs, and support to payload and subsystems milestone reviews.
- Contribute to the development of SOCs/RVM/VCD for data dissemination-related customer requirements, ensuring alignment with company standards.
- Collaborate with customers to define satellite operation procedures on message aspects, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
- Participate in non-conformance analysis, resolution, and support to Non-conformance Review Board (NRB) meetings, driving continuous improvement.
- Present and discuss results with national and international customers, fostering strong relationships and trust.
Qualifications and Experience
- Master's degree in Physics, Engineering, or a related field is required, with a strong foundation in systems engineering processes and review gates.
- Experience in requirements compliance assessment, flow-down to lower-level specifications, design description, and justification is essential.
- Deep understanding of the Galileo navigation data layer, including navigation services, page types, dissemination layouts, encoding schemes, and authentication schemes.
- Good knowledge of satellite navigation systems, with Galileo 2nd Generation being an asset, and experience working with or basic knowledge of DOORS and Matlab.
- Knowledge in Software Development is a plus, and good communication skills, team working attitude, and fluency in English are mandatory.
