Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Meat Inspector (m/w/d) to join our team. As a Meat Quality Control Specialist, you will be responsible for performing quality control activities in meat production at slaughterhouses, digital recording of delivered animals, monitoring the scale at the slaughter line, and evaluating animal carcasses.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct quality control checks on meat products to ensure they meet our high standards
- Record and document all quality control activities accurately and efficiently
- Monitor and maintain the scale at the slaughter line to ensure accurate weighing
- Evaluate animal carcasses to identify any defects or irregularities
Requirements
- Enjoy working with live animals; we provide training for newcomers to the industry
- Possibility of further training to become a certified classifier by SGS
- Willingness to work occasionally in shifts, with flexibility being a plus
- Minimum German language skills at B1 level in speaking and writing
