Job Description

As a Plant Controller at Jenoptik AG, you will be responsible for leading the operations controlling team and ensuring the smooth operation of our production facilities. Your key responsibilities will include:

Main Responsibilities
  • Leading the operations controlling team and ensuring the effective implementation of controlling processes
  • Developing and maintaining key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure production performance
  • Collaborating with the operations department to identify areas for improvement and implementing process changes
  • Providing financial and controlling support to the production team
  • Ensuring accurate and timely production cost planning and forecasting
  • Reviewing investment requests and monitoring asset performance
  • Conducting regular analysis of production processes and identifying opportunities for improvement
Requirements
  • Completed university degree in economics or industrial engineering with a focus on controlling, finance or accounting
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in production / manufacturing controlling
  • Comprehensive knowledge of operations controlling, project controlling, product costing, cost and asset accounting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Business fluent in written and spoken German and English
