Key Responsibilities:
In the role of Lead Data Engineering Specialist, you will be instrumental in driving international, agile client projects and enhancing internal initiatives. Your key responsibilities will encompass:
- Assuming ownership of tasks in international, agile client projects while advancing internal initiatives.
- Leading a diverse team of consultants, including resource allocation and performance management.
- Fostering an inspiring team atmosphere and establishing clear objectives for the team.
- Providing cross-functional leadership to project teams and mentoring junior consultants.
- Collaborating with client management and subject matter experts to formulate data engineering strategies.
- Designing and executing client-specific solutions for digital business intelligence transformation.
- Conducting analysis workshops, product training, and user education sessions.
Qualifications:
- Completed studies in economics, (business) informatics, mathematics, engineering, statistics, or related fields, or equivalent practical experience.
- Professional background in business intelligence (BI), data science, controlling, or data analytics.
- Expertise in Python, SQL, and AWS is essential.
- Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau.
- Knowledge of self-service solutions and database technologies, including Exasol, Alteryx, DataVirtuality, Oracle, Postgres, Redshift, Informatica, Talend, and Pentaho.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both German and English.
