Job Description
This PhD project focuses on pioneering new sensor types leveraging our state-of-the-art inertial sensing technology platform, combining theoretical exploration with practical application.
- Innovate and Create: Engage in concept evaluation, simulation, design, layout, processing, and characterization of MEMS sensors, aiming to develop groundbreaking sensor types.
- Holistic Approach: Tailor your research to ambitious focus areas aligned with your interests and academic aspirations.
- Collaborative Research Experience: Collaborate with various departments, including design and technology, to foster a multidisciplinary approach to problem-solving.
- Networked Communication: Join a team of experts in MEMS systems, encompassing design, technology, packaging, testing, and software/algorithms.
Qualifications
- Personality: Creative and enthusiastic, thriving in international and interdisciplinary teams.
- Working Practice: Independent and focused, capable of conducting rigorous research.
- Experience and Knowledge: Strong interest in experimental testing, mechanics, electronics, and simulation/modeling technologies.
- Languages: Proficiency in English; German is a plus.
- Education: M.Sc./Dipl. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Microsystems Engineering, or a related field, with excellent academic records.
