• Conduct independent consultations with clients, utilizing your first-hand experience in the field.
• Supplement your diagnostic skills with imaging techniques, such as X-rays and ultrasounds, as needed.
• Assume responsibility for standard and, if necessary, soft-tissue surgeries, based on your expertise and experience.
• Perform routine check-ups, vaccinations, wound care, and provide guidance to pet owners.
• Maintain professional and approachable communication with colleagues and clients at all times.

• Hold a degree in Veterinary Medicine.
• Possess a valid veterinary license (Approbation) in Germany.
• Have initial practical experience, such as through internships or work as an assistant veterinarian.
• Demonstrate professionalism and approachability in communication with colleagues and clients, handling emotionally challenging situations with empathy.
• Be willing to work actively as part of a team, contributing innovative ideas to drive the practice forward.
• Have basic skills in electronic patient record management and documentation.

We, Tierarztpraxis Dr. Jörg Richter, have been caring for the small and domestic animals that visit us for over 30 years. Our patients include dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, hamsters, and other small mammals, as well as birds.

Our focus areas include general medicine, soft-tissue surgery, and dental care, including dental X-rays, which are handled by our specialist veterinarian for small and domestic animals, Dr. Jörg Richter, and another colleague.

Together as a team, we ensure each patient receives individualized care. We achieve this through our scheduled consultations, allowing us to guarantee each animal the time it needs for thorough diagnostics.
