Process Measurement Systems Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated professional to become part of our Electrical Commissioning team within the Business Unit Machining and System Technology.

Core Responsibilities
  • Implement process measurement technology for electrical parameters (such as voltage, insulation, inductance, magnetism) and mechanical parameters (including diameter, position, depth, shape, tightness) in our assembly and machining facilities, ensuring optimal functionality.
  • Calibrate sensors, verify electrical connections, install software on measurement devices, establish software links to machine controls, configure parameters for measurement programs and devices, validate measurement outcomes, and perform Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA).
  • Investigate issues related to measurement technology in collaboration with relevant departments (mechanical design, electrical design, commissioning) to devise effective solutions.
  • Provide support for our on-site installations regarding measurement-related challenges via phone, internet, or in-person assistance.
Qualifications
  • Completed training in the electrical domain.
  • Proficient in PLC programming (Siemens TIA or Beckhoff TwinCat) with experience in automation systems.
  • Desire to independently acquire knowledge of new technologies and processes.
  • Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time.
  • Ability to think and operate across various disciplines, complemented by strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
