Leader of Strategic Sales Planning and Controlling Strategy

We are seeking a dynamic, dedicated, and team-oriented leader to take on our newly created leadership position for sales planning, controlling, and strategy. This management role offers you the opportunity to make significant sales control impulses in the customer business of Stadtsparkasse Düsseldorf and the S-Finanzgruppe, and to work together in a highly motivated, entrepreneurial-strategic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead your subordinates in a goal-oriented manner in line with the goals set by the department.
  • Take responsibility for the targeted reporting of departmental topics to the department head.
  • Ensure the strategic steering of the department in accordance with the overall house strategy by initiating suitable measures.
  • Regularly review, optimize, and ensure the internal workflows of the department with the aim of optimal use of personnel and resources.
  • Monitor compliance with internal regulations and department-specific requirements and BaFin regulations.
  • Act as the first point of contact for strategic sales planning questions.
  • Ensure strategic sales planning and regular sales controlling, including the further development of methods and processes.
  • Create and monitor business policy/strategic decisions and their implementation.
  • Lead projects/sub-projects and participate in internal and external working groups.

Requirements:

  • Have a banking-related degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Ideally, already have experience in leading teams.
  • Have experience in sales and/or consulting (desirable).
  • Have experience in leading strategic projects, including in the consulting business (desirable).
  • Have solid practical experience in setting up and conducting strategy and planning processes.
  • Are a real team player with excellent communication skills at all levels of the hierarchy.
  • Think and act entrepreneurially and can handle numbers confidently.
  • Have very good analytical and conceptual skills.
  • Are characterized by a very high level of initiative, commitment, and a self-reliant and structured way of working.
