The Robert Bosch Vehicle Electrics Eisenach GmbH is eager to receive your application.

• You will assist the team in the domain of plastic engineering during your internship.
• Your responsibilities will include aiding in the setup of machinery and systems, as well as independently conducting experiments related to plastic molding and joining techniques. You will support various investigations concerning plastic components (e.g., X-ray imaging, section preparation, penetration and leak assessments, strength evaluations).
• You will explore simulation techniques for the molding process and gain insights into tool manufacturing processes—from initial sampling to the approval of molding tools.
• In collaboration with our process development team, you will engage in the following areas:
  • Sensor technology in the automotive sector (combustion engines, electric vehicles, fuel cells)
  • Process development from initial prototypes to mass production
• You will participate in a project team, manage tasks autonomously, and take part in Simultaneous Engineering meetings.

• Education: Pursuing studies in materials science, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field
• Experience and Skills: Independent and analytical approach to work
• Personality Traits: Collaborative, proactive, and dedicated
• Passion: Enthusiasm for working in a dynamic setting
• Qualifications: Ideally, some experience in the plastics sector and proficiency in MS Office and experimental planning software
• Language Proficiency: Strong command of German (minimum B2 level) and good knowledge of English

Duration: Minimum of 3 months

Prerequisite for the internship: Enrollment at a university.
