  • The Compliance Testing & Assurance (CT&A) function is a pivotal global role within Deutsche Bank AG, established as an independent and interdisciplinary second-level function since 2021, reporting directly to the Group Executive Committee and the Chief Administrative Officer.
  • CT&A operates globally across significant financial hubs, with local teams assessing the effectiveness of processes and controls, particularly concerning compliance risks and the implementation of regulatory requirements across all business areas of Deutsche Bank AG. In collaboration with various divisions such as Private Banking, Corporate Banking, Investment Banking, DWS, and Capital Release Unit, we develop cross-functional standards and processes, significantly contributing to the establishment and maintenance of an effective control environment.

Your Responsibilities
  • You will design various audit formats, identify and evaluate existing first-level controls within the Wealth Management sector, and take responsibility for conducting audits in accordance with internal methodologies and procedures, contributing to reporting efforts.
  • You will assist in developing risk-based auditing methodologies and plans relevant to your area of responsibility.
  • You will coordinate findings and necessary actions with the audited areas and their senior management, support the implementation of agreed measures, and escalate overdue findings as necessary.
  • You will participate in the preparation and execution of projects and initiatives in response to new regulatory requirements and may also engage in international CT&A internal Global Practice Groups as needed.
Your Skills and Experience
  • You hold a university degree, preferably in Business Administration or Law, and possess at least three years of professional experience in compliance, legal, auditing, divisional control offices, business management, or risk management.
  • You have a solid understanding of relevant regulations (such as MiFID II, WpHG, MaComp, and MaRisk) and the business environment, along with a commitment to continuously familiarize yourself with new regulatory requirements for the Wealth Management & Private Banking sector.
  • You have experience in conceptualizing auditing methods and controls, along with analytical skills and a quick comprehension ability to grasp complex issues and processes, identify key risk aspects, and draw appropriate conclusions.
  • You possess strong communication skills, proactive management of work relationships, conflicts, and escalations, and are adept at goal-oriented and constructive discussions; you have excellent communication and expression skills, particularly in German, and good proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • You are a team player with high self-motivation and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, even in high-pressure situations, while adhering to deadlines with care and focus.
