As a Senior Staff Field Application Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in addressing complex challenges and enhancing customer satisfaction through your technical expertise. You will be the key liaison between internal teams and clients, focusing on Secure Elements, Controllers, and Java Card Solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Leverage your extensive knowledge of technology and Infineon products to serve as a reliable technical consultant for clients in their application development.
- Collaborate closely with advanced technical teams to tackle challenges related to Secure Controller OS development and Java Card solutions, ensuring successful application integration.
- Proactively promote Infineon solutions to clients and provide essential technical support throughout the product lifecycle, from concept to implementation.
- Manage technical communications with partners within the Smart Card Ecosystem.
- Foster customer relationships in collaboration with internal stakeholders, including Sales, Business Development, and Product Experts.
- Conduct technical training sessions for fellow Field Application Engineers, clients, and distribution partners, utilizing various formats such as webinars and on-site workshops.
- Gather and relay customer feedback to enhance product offerings and system capabilities.
- Contribute to the development of application roadmaps and product specifications.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Master's Degree in Electronic Engineering.
- A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with embedded Microcontrollers, preferably with a focus on security.
- Excellent communication skills to facilitate effective interactions with clients.
- A willingness to engage with customers, complemented by strong technical knowledge.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities.
- Significant experience in Embedded Software, particularly in C and Java Card.
- Experience with Secure Hardware for Smart Cards is advantageous.
- A readiness to travel, primarily within the EMEA region.
- Fluency in German and English.
