About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Project Manager to join our dynamic team at Rail-Flow GmbH. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading IT projects in an agile environment, ensuring alignment with our organizational goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage complex IT projects from initiation to successful completion, ensuring adherence to deadlines, budgets, and specifications.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including software developers, designers, and stakeholders, to define clear project requirements and objectives.
  • Create and maintain detailed project plans, continuously monitor progress, and manage risks and challenges to ensure project success.
  • Ensure that IT projects meet business requirements and comply with industry standards and regulations.
  • Promote continuous improvement by implementing best practices in project management methods.
  • Lead and coach junior project managers and team members, fostering their professional and personal development.
Requirements
  • Academic Qualification: A university degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
  • Professional Experience: At least five years of professional experience in IT project management, ideally in a dynamic and growth-oriented environment.
  • Expertise: Deep knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
  • Team Leadership: Extensive experience leading cross-functional teams and can demonstrate success in delivering complex IT projects on time and within budget.
  • Communication and Leadership Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Self-Motivation and Organizational Skills: Highly self-motivated, work independently, and can manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in German and English at C2 level.
