We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Service Technician to join our team at PERMACON GmbH Frankfurt.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in critical infrastructure protection and a strong background in IT data center environment services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing data center infrastructure support
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues on all systems in the data center
  • Coordinating and supervising third-party providers in the data center
  • Installing new data center equipment and ensuring seamless integration
  • Managing the installation and dismantling of redundant devices and cabling
  • Creating, maintaining, and updating documentation to ensure compliance and efficiency

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Extensive experience in IT data center environment services
  • Strong knowledge of hardware installation and maintenance
  • Excellent understanding of fiber and copper data cabling and its installation
  • Knowledge of installation, relocation, and decommissioning processes in the DC environment
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English (written and oral)
  • Self-motivated, approachable, adaptable, and customer-oriented
