About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Control Systems Engineer to join our team at Voith Group. As a key member of our Hydropower Control Technology team, you will be responsible for managing the technical implementation of hydropower control technology projects based on Siemens and Rockwell control systems.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Develop system concepts based on project tenders and customer-specific requirements.
  • Be responsible for technical and commercial clarification with customers and suppliers.
  • Manage and implement hardware and software engineering throughout the entire duration of the project.
  • Create PLC programs and visualization solutions.
  • Plan communication and network systems, taking cyber security requirements into account.
  • Ensure compliance with costs, deadlines, and quality, and create and check technical documentation.
Your Profile
  • Degree in electrical engineering, automation, or information technology, with several years of professional experience in control systems.
  • Extensive experience with Siemens PCS7 and/or Rockwell Studio 5000.
  • Good command of written and spoken German, and very good command of English; other foreign languages are an advantage.
  • Results-oriented, analytical, and team player with a strong technical background in control systems engineering.
