Risk Management Specialist

Verisk is seeking a skilled Risk Analyst to support our Consulting and Client Service Team.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work closely with clients to understand their risk management needs.
As a Risk Analyst, you will be responsible for developing strong relationships with clients, providing proactive service to help them leverage our solutions optimally, and performing a wide range of risk analyses in support of consulting projects and client support.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their risk management workflows and objectives.
- Respond to client questions in a timely manner and provide collaborative support to resolve issues.
- Perform risk analyses in support of consulting projects, client support, and internal initiatives.
- Lead on-boarding efforts for new clients, including training, workflow design, and model result interpretation.
- Support model and product change management efforts.
- Collaborate with internal teams to evolve products based on client feedback and internal usage.
- Provide technical support to the business development team.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, actuarial science, engineering, physics, geo-sciences, or business or computer science.
- Client service-focused mentality.
- Proactive problem-solving skills.
- Talent to summarize, contextualize, and communicate complex issues.
- Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously.
- Detail and results-oriented.
- Ability to analyze data using tools like Excel, SQL, and scripting languages.
- Fluency in German and English.
