In order to strengthen our team at Guardian Flachglas GmbH in Thalheim, we are seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) Engineer to join our team in a permanent employment at the earliest possible date:

Your Role


• Develop and implement EH&S programs and operational best practices to ensure a safe working environment.


• Collaborate with operational teams to identify and control EHS risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them.


• Engage with plant leadership on incident investigations, ensuring root-cause analysis occurs, proper follow-up is taken, and proper incident notification occurs.


• Track safety and training statistics within the plant and prepare reports to management as needed.


• Promote the Guiding Principles and Principled Based Management culture across the organization, with a focus on compliance, hazard awareness, incident prevention, risk management, open communication, and knowledge sharing.

What We Are Looking For


• A degree in environmental science, occupational health and safety, or a related field.


• Relevant professional experience in environmental, health and safety in a manufacturing company.


• Excellent knowledge of environmental, health and safety regulations and standards.


• Experience in implementing and developing occupational safety and health protection programs, as well as environmental management and corporate environmental protection.


• High proficiency in both spoken and written English and German.


• Competent user of MS-Office applications.


• High level of commitment and initiative.


• Excellent interpersonal skills, including verbal, written, and negotiation skills, with a strong sense of service and support.
