About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Engineer to join our team at MAHLE. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for the industrialization of new Automotive Traction E-Drive projects in our Sempeter plant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize production concepts for Automotive Traction E-Drives in accordance with MAHLE's production system and automotive standards.
  • Audit plant suppliers to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Prepare specifications and feasibility studies for plants and tools in the hairpin stator production area.
  • Support product development with a focus on production-oriented design (DFM).
  • Lead the launch management of new production lines/plants in the plant.
  • Coordinate work packages within the sub-team.
  • Ensure quality, cost, and time targets are met within the PDP process.
  • Prepare and execute customer process audits.

Requirements

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, production engineering, or industrial engineering.
  • 5 years of relevant experience in e-drive production or production engineering in hairpin stator production.
  • Fluency in English (oral/written).
  • In-depth technology knowledge in the field of hairpin stator production.
  • Good knowledge of relevant production technologies such as EOL, rotor assembly, and E-Drive assembly.
  • Very good project management skills.
  • Willingness to travel (40%).
  • Very good knowledge of practical problem-solving, lean production, SMED, continuous improvement, technical standards, process, and product development in the area of hairpin stator production.
