Position Overview:
Cyber Security Analyst (m/f/d)Key Responsibilities:
- Continuously monitor the organization's networks and systems to detect violations and breaches, ensuring timely mitigation actions are implemented.
- Oversee the operation and enhancement of a global Security Information and Event Management System (SIEM).
- Respond to incidents as a member of the incident response team, investigating root causes and recommending preventive measures for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with the Global Information Security Team to drive various Information Security initiatives.
- Develop and implement IT policies, standards, and processes, establishing an effective IT support structure.
- Ensure alignment of software and hardware with corporate enterprise solutions to maximize business value.
- Prepare for and participate in annual IT audits and compliance exercises.
- Install and manage security software, including firewalls and data encryption programs, to safeguard sensitive information.
- Generate regular reports documenting process implementations, improvements, and security incidents.
- Educate and train users to enhance awareness of Cyber Security threats.
Candidate Profile:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Preferred professional certifications (e.g., ITIL, CISM, MS Azure Administrator).
- In-depth knowledge of at least one Information Security Framework (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST 800).
- Proven expertise in SIEM systems and monitoring solutions.
- Hands-on experience managing LAN/WAN environments, including network configuration and administration, with knowledge of CISCO and Checkpoint technologies being advantageous.
- Strong awareness of cybersecurity trends and hacking techniques.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and planning skills, complemented by strong leadership qualities.
- Proactive and organized, with the ability to provide quick resolutions to problems.
- German proficiency at B1/B2 level and English proficiency at B2 level (minimum) are required.
Personal and Organizational Skills:
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, across all business levels.
- Highly analytical with exceptional troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent task management capabilities.
- Customer service-oriented mindset.
- Some experience in project management.
Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with Microsoft Server, Active Directory, and Azure.
- Knowledge of SIEM systems (e.g., AlienVault, Splunk).
- Understanding of server, system, and application monitoring.
- Knowledge of Cisco hardware and firewall concepts.
- Familiarity with Checkpoint firewalls.
- Understanding of backup and business continuity strategies.
- Knowledge of switches, routers, VOIP, security, and various network services.
- Strong administrative and reporting skills.
