Account Manager:in – Mercedes

This is an exciting opportunity to join IAV as an Account Manager:in – Mercedes, where you will be responsible for driving business development with one of the world's leading automotive companies.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Negotiate and manage offers with the customer, supporting the bid team in the preparation of proposals.
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote IAV's competitiveness with the customer.
  • Contribute to the improvement of IAV's positioning with the customer, identifying opportunities for growth and development.
  • Work closely with the specialist sales team to develop and execute account strategies.
  • Process acquisitions for the Key Account Manager, ensuring seamless coordination and communication.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the customer's purchasing department, conducting negotiations on behalf of the Key Account Manager.
Requirements:
  • Relevant degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field.
  • Proven sales experience, with a strong track record of success in service sales, acquisition, or project business.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively at various levels of the organization.
  • Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of the automotive industry and its key players.
  • Fluency in German and English, with a minimum of C1 level proficiency.
Desired Skills:
  • Knowledge of contract drafting and negotiation, with experience in preparing complex offers and services.
  • Strategic thinking, with a strong ability to implement and execute plans.
