Electrical Systems Engineer

Orizon GmbH, Unit Aviation is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will lead a team of electrical engineers in the design and development of innovative electrical systems for aerospace applications.

As an integral member of our client's renowned aerospace engineering team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of complex electrical system programs. Your expertise will be instrumental in meeting industry standards and regulatory requirements, contributing to the safety and reliability of aircraft.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and guidance to your electrical engineering team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Oversee and coordinate all aspects of electrical system design activities, ensuring adherence to established standards and best practices.
  • Manage and deliver electrical systems programs within defined timelines and budgets, effectively communicating progress and challenges to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with regulatory agencies such as EASA and FAA to ensure compliance with all applicable certification requirements.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of system drawings and documents, verifying accuracy and adherence to OEM specifications and regulatory guidelines.
  • Actively participate in design reviews, providing valuable insights and contributing to the overall success of projects.
Your Profile:
  • Possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Demonstrate extensive experience in aerospace engineering, project management, and team leadership roles.
  • Exhibit a strong understanding of Aerospace Cabin Interior Systems and their integration within aircraft.
  • Proficiency in utilizing computerized design and analysis tools such as CATIA V5m 3D CAD and AutoCAD.
  • Demonstrate the ability to interpret complex design drawings and specifications.
  • Possess hands-on experience with electrical routing design and installations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, meeting tight deadlines and fulfilling customer requirements.
